When we were invited by Sentosa Cove to pitch for the project, the brief was clear: design and produce their quarterly news magazine. But we saw an opportunity to offer something more.

Process
Instead of just sticking to the brief, we proposed a comprehensive editorial content strategy that was not only tailored for the audience but also aligned with the long-term vision of team Sentosa Cove. This meant taking the reins on content creation, allowing the Sentosa Cove team to focus on their core activities.

Vision: For the Cove Residents, by the Cove Residents.
In reimagining the magazine, we first established clear objectives that the new publication needed to achieve. Our vision was to create a magazine that was truly “For the Cove Residents, By the Cove Residents,” while also elevating it to reflect the prestige of living in Sentosa Cove.

Phase 2
Aligning with Sentosa Cove's goals, we move into Phase 2, the magazine’s scope broadened to include a wider audience, to engage visitors who enjoyed the Cove lifestyle at places like Quayside Isle and W Hotel. We also incorporated commercial interests, promoting businesses within Sentosa Cove, and shifted towards a dual focus on both community building and brand image enhancement.
